Virtual Online Meeting!
Hello All, It’s Audrey Hager with CREIA. Thank you for being so patient. Great news. The Real Estate 101 2020 educational series is ON…Virtually!
We have said this over and over…Your Physical Health is Most Important to Us, But Your Financial Health Runs a Close Second. CREIA remains committed to providing educational and networking opportunities to its members. So, the board met and after careful consideration voted that the Real Estate 101 2020 educational series must go on, just virtually.
We do not want to take a chance. Your well-being and safety are too important. Events and information continue to change daily. With the governor’s recent three-week extension of stage two and the mandatory wearing of masks, everything changed. The original plan to meet in person, with a virtual hybrid component had to be modified. The board’s decision was based on the evolving virus situation, responses of members, speakers, volunteers, and venue managers who expressed concerns about meeting in person. Plus, an updated message from the governor is expected on 7/17/2020, the same day our event is to begin. This is too late to execute plans responsibly and safely for an in-person event.
So, while we have a responsible plan and have taken precautions for re-entry to face-to-face meetings, now is not the time. Our intentions were good, but we must respond to the circumstances as they unfold. No worries, we can still meet and network TOGETHER! We just must meet virtually for a while longer! Per board vote, the following will be a virtual education series.
