This past year has brought us many changes – who you can hug, how close you can stand, how many masks to wear, etc., so it is no surprise that our laws relating to real estate investing are also changing.
To help you understand these changes and the ramifications of these changes for your business, CREIA is bringing you Andy Strauss to illuminate the landscape! Andy is a familiar face to members of CREIA – he has been a frequent speaker at CREIA events over the years.
At this meeting, Andy will talk about basic estate planning and the changes that occurred in 2020 regarding IRAs, etc. and the expected decrease in estate tax exemption.
A local and accomplished attorney, Andy is a board-certified specialist in estate planning and probate law with a long list of accolades and distinctions including published author, lecturer, speaker, and philanthropist.

Bob Bryenton

CREIANC is delighted to announce Bob Bryenton, long-time member, educator and friend, as our Member of the Month for March, 2021!
In 1996 Bob started investing in real estate, then in 2008 US Real Estate Ventures LLC was formed. During the 1st few years the focus was buying small multifamily apartments, single family homes, mixed use buildings, and rehabbing and selling properties. This evolved into US Real Estate Ventures LLC’s ability to take advantage of the current real estate climate and develop a strategic plan to purchase for the greatest amount of profit focusing on either cash flow or end of project profit. The company has aligned or contracted with experts in the fields of finance, economics, networking, valuation, asset / property management, and due diligence to tackle the challenges of acquiring large multi-family opportunities. The company has also contracted with seasoned experts owning thousands of units in the multifamily apartment market to mentor and consult on each project. Bob has raised investment equity to purchase more than $350,000,000 in market value. In 2015 discounted notes were added to the investment mix, allowing the investors another option to grow not only their net worth, but to increase their cash flow from throughout the US. 2016 student housing was added, I A E, LLC was formed to include Bob’s son and daughter, Travis Bryenton and Kibby Fergusson. 2020 assisted living centers are targeted to join the portfolio. Bob is also a broker and part owner in several Keller Williams Market Centers.
Today, US Real Estate Ventures' real estate holdings are currently invested in North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, and Tennessee. The discounted notes are invested in markets across the United States. Bob graduated from Plymouth State College with a B.S. in Marketing with concentration in Real Estate investing & development.
